About Us:
Waste Not Community Gardens is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food waste and hunger in Sonoma County. We facilitate the collection of surplus produce from local gardens and homes to distribute to those in need, ensuring fresh food reaches our community and fostering awareness for sustainable practices.
The ability to provide for the less fortunate is only possible with you! If you or anyone you know has access to surplus produce (ex: fruit, vegetables, etc) You can contact us and we will come collect and begin redistributing. This practice allows for less food waste and for locally grown produce to be utilized by our area's less fortunate.Even the apple tree in your front yard can help!
